Seven Brethren
Over the years the site at Seven Brethren has had a variety of different purposes, however in more recent history it was repurposed as the North Devon Leisure Centre, until they relocated nearby. Constructing on a site with a varied history such as this one can present unique challenges, but their successful development highlights that even the most unassuming sites can have huge and exciting potential.
First Milestone
Construction for the first phase of new homes has now commenced.
We are creating a major residential development at the Seven Brethren site, in partnership with North Devon District Council. The development will provide 180 new homes of which 30% will be affordable, comprising 125 town houses and two contemporary apartment blocks. The houses will be a mix of two, three, and four bedroom properties, many of which will have picturesque views over the River Taw.

The development started with a significant infrastructure package that included flood defences, land raising, roads, and drainage. The defences will not only protect the new homes, but also existing homes and businesses in the area, thus providing immense community benefits.
